Turbo Diddleys were created based on the rudimentary instruments of yesteryear. Homemade affairs made from materials at hand, brought up-to-date with some love and respect for classical luthiery.

Turbo Diddleys use the resonator cone concept pioneered by John Dopyera in the 1920s and 30s with National and Dobro guitars. When combined with box-shaped bodies made from vintage crates and packing material, a new sound emerges - complete with the look and feel of some creation from your Grandpa's closet.

Handmade coverplates protect spun aluminum cones. Hammered brass, nickel tailpieces and vintage tuning keys on modern gears complete these stunningly beautiful instruments. They're as beautiful to look at as they are to play.
